How to Convince Your Organisation That Quality Management Is King (Video)

Brad Fagan

In this video, we attempt to debunk the narrative that quality is 'an unnecessary add-on to our business' and change it to 'quality is at the very heart of our processes.'

When organisations look for ways to cut costs, a quality focus can be the first thing that ends up on the scrap heap, however, the dangers of not respecting quality and undermining the value within the company can send a message to the rest of your organisation that sub-par products/services are accepted as long as it saves money.

In fact, one of the great myths about quality management, is that it ends up costing the organisation money when, on the contrary, it will end up paying for itself many times over down the line.

Most companies have a short term focus that satisfies today's needs, without realising that although the benefits of quality may not be immediately seen, quality failure is absolutely seen and can end up causing horrific damage to a company and its image.

With this in mind, four approaches are discussed in this video in an attempt to change the narrative of quality and place it at the very heart of your organisation.
